Johnny Depp and Amber Heard had a dream wedding. The couple, who met on the set of their 2011 film The Rum Diary and revealed their engagement in 2014, celebrated their nuptials on Little Hall’s Pond Cay in the Bahamas with a “wedding weekend” after tying the knot in a civil ceremony on February 3, 2015.
Beautiful actress wore a Stella McCartney white dress with long sleeves and white veil, while one of the top Hollywood male stars wore white tuxedo with black pants and shoes and bow tie.
“(It was) moving but only semi-formal. Amber did her own hair and make-up and Johnny was as laid-back as usual. They wanted to do it all again on the beach and then party for the weekend with friends because they love the island and want it to be a continuing part of their lives together”, said one of the 50 guests in the Bahamas.
The island, which the actor bought in 2004 for 3,6 million dollars is only accessible by boat or seaplane.
It is Austin native Heard’s first marriage and the second for Depp, who was married to makeup artist Lori Anne Allison from 1983 to 1986. Johnny Depp has two kids with Vanessa Paradis – Lily-Rose (15) and Jack (12).
