Tennis star Andy Murray married his fiancée Kim Sears in Dunblane, Scotland, on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Newlyweds tied the knot in the 12th century cathedral before a relatively small group of their family members and close friends. The wedding reception took place in the Cromlix House Hotel owned by Andy worth £1.8 million and boasting 15 bedrooms.
The bride looked dazzling in gorgeous Jenny Packham wedding gown with Swarowski crystals. Custom dress has stunning embellished waist and sheer embroidered sleeves. Kim wore her hair swept back from her face in a half-up and half-down do and tousled brunette locks were also pinned with a long three meter long lace veil. She wore a pair of Jimmy Choo strappy silver heels. The British tennis number one sported a blue and green kilt. Four bridesmaids were all dressed in pink.
“We’ve been together like nine-and-a-half years and we’ve lived together for six or seven years as well, so I don’t think a whole lot’s going to change. I kind of feel like we have been married already in terms of the way we spend our lives together and live together. I think I will be more nervous about starting a family because that would be more life-changing, in a good way.”, said Andy Murray couple of months before big day.
Earlier Murray tweeted a preview of the day in emojis which included pictures of a church, a ring, a kiss, cake and drinks as well as hearts, a face throwing a kiss and several Zzzz icons for sleep.
Among the guests were Murray’s brother Jamie, divorced parents Judy and William, grandparents Shirley and Roy Erskine and former British tennis number one Tim Henman and his wife Lucy.
The Wimbledon champ and Kim got engaged in November 2014.
